Donut Magnets

These are very strong and compact magnets. The larger-diameter center magnetic pin makes it easier to line up both sides to close, and also gives them greater holding strength against a sideways pull from any direction.

The outer shell and center pin are both magnets.

Components
The set is the Male and Female magnets.
Suggested attachment option is shown at the right:
Female ("outer shell") attached with a decorative 2/20 or 2/24 ligne cap
Male ("center pin") attached with an 804 washer

Logos
We can logo the cap, the rim of the outer shell magnet, and/or the face of the center pin magnet.

Standard finishes are listed below. Custom finishes are also available to meet your requirements.

The sizes shown below are the original 10 mm item, but other sizes can be custom designed to your specifications.

How it Works

In an ordinary magnet, the majority of the magnetic pull is released into the air.

This innovative ROMAG magnet uses a piece of steel on each side to create a direct path (or short circuit) between the two parts of the magnet. As a result, the holding power is concentrated between the two parts and none of the power escapes into the air.

This results in an extraordinarily strong magnet in a very small size.
